Dear Friends,

Denise found that Behind the Panels had mentioned my Lantern City variant cover for Boom! Studios as one of the Top Covers for May 2015, so I am sharing that with you here. If you haven’t heard of Lantern City, do check it out – it’s Bruce Boxleitner’s very cool, gorgeously rendered world – a Steampunk action adventure tale. Here is the variant cover art for you. Let me know what you think of it.

Dear Friends,

For the first time, I am offering my graphic novel original comic book art from RAIL: BROKEN THINGS available for sale at San Diego Comic-Con this year. This is the artwork that appears in the WASTED LANDS OMNIBUS, which is premiering this year at Comic-Con through Magnetic Press, as well as at my Booth #4500. Additionally, I am selling my pencil sketch art pieces from my  2014 Edition of my LEADWORKS #2 Book. Here are some images of me loading the artwork into my portfolios today as well as a new look at what the cover of the new WASTED LANDS OMNIBUS book looks like.

Dear Friends,

Thanks to all who stopped by to say “hello” during HeroesCon this past weekend in Charlotte, NC. As always, it was a lot of fun and the show really emphasizes comics. I procured a few more surprise guests for my podcast, which you will all really be excited to hear speaking uninhibitedly, which we tend to encourage on our show, “It’s Comic Book Day,” free to you on iTunes. To link to our podcast, or as Denise calls it, “Radio On Demand,” click here: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/id373866909

As promised, here is some more Buckaroo Banzai art I did for Moonstone Comics, based here in Chicago. Can you tell I really love painting tentacles?
