My New Exclusive Line of Greetings Cards & My Autograph Signing Session This Weekend

Opening day for the new STAR WARS movie! Yay! I’ve been looking forward to 10:30 p.m. tonight for a long time. This weekend I will be doing a STAR WARS signing for DREAMLAND COMICS at STRATFORD SQUARE MALL in BLOOMINGDALE, IL. Here’s a link to their address and phone #: https://dreamlandcomics.com. And now for my other news — I’ve launched an exclusive line of greeting cards through a Logica3.com company called SAVE A TREE CARDS.com in West Dundee, IL near where I live. I want to extend a special thanks to Lisa Page Domwbrowski and Larry Dombrowski for giving me this opportunity to share my personal art. This new line of Dorman greeting cards are a departure from my typical licensed commercial work that you are familiar with, but I really enjoy painting non-licensed art. Also on their site are links to the art tutorial videos I created of me painting their greeting card designs. They’ve shrunk them down to 12 and six minutes, so if you don’t want to sit through the 2-hour versions, these are truncated. Here’s an example of the art you’ll see me painting:

I have been asked for years if I do Christmas or Holiday Cards. I did some small runs for personal use a few years back, but I’ve never publicly offered them for sale. UNTIL NOW.

Today I am offering you my first Limited Edition, Dave Dorman Greeting Card Set 1.0 –  just in time the holidays, all hand-signed by me. Blank inside, these cards can be used year-round. The cover art is my painting “Christmas Junction,” capturing the warmth of the Holidays during the chill of winter. The art is a very subtle tip of the hat to my Wasted Lands/RAIL work, with the two motorcycles parked in front of the building.

DETAILS:

Size:  8″x 9″ folded to a final size of 4″ wide x 9″ tall.

Layout Details: The art is on the front; the interior is intentionally left blank for your personal holiday message – or use year-round.

Material: The card itself is a semi-gloss #120 cover stock.

Quantity: 10 per box, accompanied with blank envelopes

Hand-signed by me: I will personally SIGN each card on the back to make them a bit more collectable.

Price: $12.00.  This price includes postage.

Availability: Orders will be ready to ship right after Thanksgiving.

Order Deadline: This limited edition card will only be available for the Holiday season of 2013. I will retire this art and card on Dec 31, 2013, so if you like it,  please order it before 12/31/13.
